Are you a Phoenix resident aged 17–25, interested in construction but don’t know where to start? If so, Phoenix and our partner YouthBuild have the perfect opportunity for you.

YouthBuild is a free 12-week course that will give you the broad training across a range of disciplines to kick-start your career in the construction industry.

During the course you will:

• Get hands on training in a range of construction trades
• Brush up your CV, interview and employability skills
• Meet new people & improve your confidence

After graduating, you'll leave with:

• A certificate in Multi-Trade Construction Activities (Level 1)
• A certificate in Health & Safety (Level 1) 
• An Employability Skills qualification (Level 1) 
• Completion of a one-week work placement
• A Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card
• Leadership skills for personal and professional development
• Continued employment support into jobs, apprenticeships and further education

YouthBuild accepts referrals all year round, however you cannot join a programme once it's started.
