Our ‘Digital Together’ programme has been shortlisted for the UK Housing Awards, ‘Digital landlord of the year’ award.

The core programme, ‘Digital Together', consisted of 23 projects, with the aim of providing value for money over time, 24/7/365 online customer self-service and robust reporting tools.

The shortlist recognises the second phase of the programme: delivering a resident self-service, “MyPhoenix” portal, which went live in May 2021 and now has over 1,600 users.

Shaped by residents, for residents, the portal enables residents to book repairs, make payments, set up direct debits and access services quickly, all in one space.

Phoenix Community Housing resident, David Owen, who was involved in the portal creation said: “It was great to get involved in the whole process and to share ideas with other residents and the portal developers. We looked at the overall page set up and different features to make it as accessible as possible. I’m very pleased with the final outcome - the portal is great and so easy to use. I pay my rent by direct debit so I log in every now and then to keep an eye on my payments.”

The winners will be announced at an event in Manchester on Friday 25 November.
