We have two fantastic pieces of news about our popular Summer Fun events.
Thanks to members of the public voting at the local Lewisham Tesco’s, Summer Fun secured a £2000 grant, through Tesco Bags of Help programme. These votes have helped bring more free family fun to the Phoenix area.
The good news keeps coming: at last Thursday’s event at Reigate Road playground, we had our biggest crowd ever! An amazing 338 adults and children made it down to take part in activities such as face painting, climbing and mask making.
We still have two more brilliant summer fun events coming to a green near you. These are:
• Thursday 15 August at Bellingham Green
• Thursday 22 August at Beckenham Place Park BMX track
Both events are on from 12-4pm and free, just turn up.
