Hundreds of residents enjoy Santa’s Phoenix tour

Santa and his elves arrived early in south Lewisham to greet hundreds of Phoenix residents at our series of ‘Meet Santa’ events in December.

The events were held at each Community Link area and over 240 residents from 61 households joined us to kick off the festivities.

Young event-goers received an early present from Santa and posted off last minute Christmas wishes, while parents and carers received a stocking from Santa’s elves complete with information about our services and the support we offer.

Denise Fowler, Phoenix Community Housing Chief Executive, said: “This time of year is difficult for many and events like this are a fantastic opportunity to bring some free festive magic to our community. It’s been so lovely to see lots of excited faces and I hope that everyone enjoyed meeting Santa on his tour of the area!”
