Last week marked the start of 16 Days of Activism, a global campaign that calls for the end of violence against women in all its forms.
As part of 16 days of activism, we are joining thousands of organisations to encourage our staff to wear white ribbons for White Ribbon day. The day is a day of action and support for our male colleagues to make the promise never commit, excuse or remain silent about violence against women.
Sixteen days of activism, which started on 25 November also highlights other significant campaign dates including International Women Human Rights Defenders’ Day, World Aids Day and Human Rights Day.
