Thank you to the 411 residents who came and met Santa!

After the lockdown, Phoenix Community Housing hosted six ‘Meet Santa’ events across the Phoenix area at the beginning of December. Santa and his elves were on hand to give presents to Phoenix residents, young and old, and take any letters written for him.

As part of the festivities, we also hosted a Christmas Competition to find the best Christmas decoration, knit and poem in our community. Thank you to everyone who entered. The winners are…

Best Christmast Decoration (adult's prize) Roza Lleshi
Best Christmas Decoration (children's prize) Demi Bissmire
Best Christmas Knit (adult's prize) Natalie Bone
Best Christmas Knit (children's prize) Temidayo Adegbaju
Best Christmas Poem (adult's prize) Dave Gaffney
Best Chsritmas Poem (children's prize) Alhana Jean

Congratulations to the winners of our Christmas competition, who have received a special Christmas hamper. We’d also like to congratulate the children runners up who have also received a prize:
