As a housing association Phoenix holds lots of personal information about our residents and other people who use our services. We use this information to manage tenancies and leases and to deliver other services that benefit our wider community.

New rules will come into effect across the UK and Europe on 25 May this year to better protect our personal data and information. As part of our preparations for these new rules – the General Data Protection Regulation (or GDPR) – we have reviewed how we manage and protect the information that we hold about our residents, customers and staff.

We want everyone to understand what information we collect, how we use it and what you can do if you have any questions.

We've sent all of our residents and customers a Privacy Notice. This guide outlining how we collect, look after and use your personal information. This includes what you tell us about yourself and what we collect about you
so that we can provide you with the best possible services. It explains how we will use your information, when we share it, and how we store it, and your rights under GDPR.

We promise:

  • to keep your personal information safe and secure
  • never to sell your personal information
  • to tell you how we use your personal information.

You can read our resident privacy notice online and further information and detail is included in our Data Protection Policy and website Privacy policy.

If you have any questions about how we use your data, please contact us.
